Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk
An opportunity has arisen in our head office based in Pontrilas, Hereford for an individual who is enthusiastic, with strong numerical skills and attention to detail. The position is for a fixed 3-month period to cover maternity leave.
As a member of our busy ledger team, the successful applicant will be required to but not limited to:
- Input & process a high volume of supplier invoices using bespoke in-house programs (training will be provided)
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Liaise with suppliers via telephone and email
- Complete month end accounts payable procedures
- Prepare payment runs for approval by the Financial Controller
- Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Office Manager/Financial Controller
Experience:
· Previous purchase ledger experience preferable
· Basic excel skills required
· Previous use of sage is desirable but not essential
Salary depending on experience
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
