What you'll do:

Prepare, cook and serve high-quality meals in a busy, professional kitchen.

Take pride in delivering delicious, well-presented food to military personnel, maintaining excellent standards every day.

Work closely with the front-of-house team to provide a friendly, efficient service and a great experience for everyone.

Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness, following EHO guidelines and Sodexo procedures.

Support bulk cooking while ensuring every dish is consistent, fresh and prepared to the same high standard.

Help keep the kitchen running smoothly by following best practices and maintaining excellent standards of sanitation.

Get involved in special functions and high-profile events, giving you the opportunity to showcase your cooking skills and creativity.
What you bring:

Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a catering or hospitality environment.

A relevant catering qualification is desirable, but not essential.

Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards.

Able to work well as part of a team in a busy kitchen.

A genuine passion for cooking and providing high-quality food and service.

Experience in military or government catering would be an advantage.

IOSH qualification and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office would be desirable.
