Join the Footy 3s Coaching Team
Footy 3s is looking for an enthusiastic Football Coach to join our growing team, delivering fun, engaging and player-centred football sessions for Reception and Year 1 children (4-6 years).
Our programme is built around the 3v3 game, giving children more touches of the ball, more opportunities to make decisions and the best possible environment to develop confidence, creativity and a love for football.
Full training will be provided in the Footy 3s coaching programme, however, the required FA qualifications listed below are essential before applying.
Please only apply if you have the following qualifications:
Essential
- FA Introduction to Coaching Football (or FA Level 1 / UEFA C Licence or higher)
- Valid FA Emergency First Aid qualification
- Valid FA Safeguarding Children qualification
- Full UK driving licence or reliable transport to travel to our coaching venue every Saturday morning
Desirable
- An in-date FA DBS. If you don't currently have one, we can arrange this for the successful candidate before they begin coaching.
Unfortunately, applications without the essential coaching qualifications listed above will not be considered.
The Role
- Deliver engaging football sessions for Reception and Year 1 children.
- Create a fun, safe and positive learning environment.
- Follow the Footy 3s coaching programme and session plans.
- Encourage every child to develop confidence, football skills and a love for the game.
- Set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions.
- Build positive relationships with players, parents and fellow coaches.
- Represent Footy 3s professionally at all times.

- Enthusiastic, reliable and punctual.
- Passionate about developing young footballers.
- Confident working with children aged 4-6 years.
- A positive role model with excellent communication skills.
- Keen to learn, develop and become part of a growing coaching team.

Hours
Part-time.
