Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner/Carpenter to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing various wooden structures and components across a range of projects. Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble timber components according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently.
- Install joinery elements such as doors, windows, cabinets, and mouldings on-site or in workshops.
- Perform roofing tasks including framing, sheathing, and waterproofing as required.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and completed structures safely.
- Assist with construction painting, masonry work, plumbing, electrical tasks, or other trades as needed.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or related construction trades.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of assembly techniques and joinery methods.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
- Experience with roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work or construction painting is advantageous.
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or construction trades are desirable.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
