Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and dedicated CDP (Commis de Cuisine) Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assisting in cooking, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients to support the kitchen team.
- Cook dishes according to specified recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Support meal preparation for service periods, ensuring timely delivery of dishes.
- Follow all food safety procedures and hygiene standards to uphold health regulations.
- Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service times.
- Support serving staff as needed, including plating dishes or assisting with special requests.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Previous restaurant or culinary experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary styles is advantageous.
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills and developing culinary expertise.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
