Euroseal Trade Sales are a leading manufacturer of Dock Shelters/ Dock Seals and associated products for the loading bay industry. Due to upcoming retirement, we are looking to recruit a skilled Textile and Fabric Cutter at our facility in Gloucester.
Summary
We are seeking a Textile and Fabric Cutter to join our team in the United Kingdom. This role is vital in ensuring the quality and precision of our fabric-based products, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier environmental solutions.
The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Management team, your primary responsibility will be to prepare, measure and cut materials including Heavy duty fabric and PVC. This will involve working with manual cutting tools and automated machinery. You must be able to follow drawings and customer order specifications while continuously producing accurate results.
Essential requirements:
· Proven experience working in an industrial fabric/textile cutting role.
· Excellent numerical skills and the ability to measure accurately.
· Strong attention to detail.
· The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment in order to meet deadlines.
· Ability to communicate effectively to management and co workers.
· Able to work effectively to minimise material wastage.
· Experience of the Orion cutting machinery/software would be highly advantageous but not essential as training can be given if required.
