Job Summary
NREX LTD is seeking reliable and professional Owner Van / Estate Car Delivery Drivers to join our expanding courier network across Bradford (West Yorkshire, Yorkshire and Humber Region),Harrogate, Huddersfield, and Keighley areas.
This is a multi-drop delivery role involving the collection of parcels from a designated depot and delivering them door-to-door to residential and business customers. The successful driver will be responsible for completing assigned delivery routes efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service, parcel handling, and delivery accuracy.
Drivers must be able to complete multiple delivery stops per day, follow delivery procedures, and provide accurate proof of delivery (POD). Attention to detail is essential, as incorrect deliveries, failed deliveries due to driver error, or incorrect proof of delivery pictures may result in service penalties.
Duties
- Collect parcels from the allocated depot at the scheduled time.
- Complete daily multi-drop parcel delivery routes within assigned areas.
- Deliver parcels safely and accurately to customers' doors.
- Provide correct proof of delivery (POD), including clear delivery photographs where required.
- Ensure parcels are delivered to the correct address and recipient.
- Follow delivery instructions and customer requirements.
- Use delivery scanning systems and mobile applications correctly.
- Maintain professional communication with customers and depot teams.
- Report delivery issues, damaged parcels, or address problems promptly.
- Complete all assigned deliveries within the required timeframe.
- Ensure the vehicle is suitable, clean, and maintained for delivery operations.
- Follow company delivery standards and compliance procedures.
Important Performance Requirements
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
- Failed deliveries caused by driver negligence may result in penalties.
- Incorrect proof of delivery (POD), including wrong delivery photographs, may result in penalties.
- Drivers must follow correct delivery procedures at all times to maintain customer satisfaction and service quality.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role, preferably with multi-drop routes
- Own van or suitable estate car required.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Previous multi-drop courier or parcel delivery experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of Bradford (West Yorkshire, Yorkshire and Humber Region), Harrogate, Huddersfield, and Keighley areas is an advantage.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to complete daily delivery targets
- Smartphone required for delivery applications and proof of delivery.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and team members
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong attention to safety procedures and vehicle maintenance standards
