Founded in 1907, Rochdale AFC is an established professional football club, who will compete in EFL League Two for the 2026/27 season, alongside FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and EFL Trophy knockout competition commitments. We are involved in a broad range of sporting, commercial, and charitable activities, with a controlling stake in the club recently acquired by The Ogden Family.
To develop our staff team further, we are now seeking an additional Cleaner for 25 hours per week, based at The Crown Oil Arena. Flexibility is required, as the role will include both evenings and weekends.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
> Perform cleaning duties in various sections of the stadium, including stands, bathrooms, lounges, boxes, tunnel areas, first aid rooms and changing rooms.
> Ensure all waste bins are emptied and disposed of correctly.
> Set up rooms for matchdays, rugby and other non-football functions.
> Conduct regular sanitation of high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
> Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, especially in preparation for events or post-match.
> Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.
> Collaborate with other cleaning and maintenance staff to optimise stadium cleanliness.
> Managing the cleaning, maintenance and stock of coffee machines.
From time to time, the successful applicant may be asked to assist with activity essential to club operations that is not outlined in the above day-to-day duties.
