Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Waiting Staff to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
- Provide attentive guest service, addressing any queries or concerns professionally
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area throughout shifts
- Handle payments accurately using POS systems and process transactions efficiently
- Support food safety protocols by adhering to hygiene standards and assisting with basic food preparation when required
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow
- Assist in setting up tables, clearing dishes, and resetting the dining area for new guests
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential but still training will be provided for all new staff members
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
- Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach towards guests and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
