INDUSTRIAL HOSE ASSEMBLY & DISPATCH WORK
We're looking for a reliable, hands on person to join our dispatch & hose assembly team.
This is a varied role where no two weeks are quite the same. You'll be working as part of a small team to help ensure customer orders are picked, assembled, and dispatched accurately and on time.
Using our Industrial Swage machine, and various power tools to assemble, test and re-test hoses.
Full training will be provided, so previous hose assembly experience isn't essential. What matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work well within a team.
What You'll Be Doing
The role operates on a weekly rota system. Dispatch, Hose Assembly (WIP we call it) & Cover
Warehouse & Dispatch
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Processing and dispatching orders using our ERP system
- Generating and working from picking lists
- Ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time
- Helping prioritise urgent customer requirements
- Liason with WIP to ensure assemblies are ready for you to dispatch
Hose Assembly
- Assembling industrial hose assemblies from work orders
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Pressure testing completed hose assemblies
- Following quality procedures to ensure products meet customer specifications
- Re-tested customer returned hoses
Cover Role
- Simply assisting other areas that need a hand.
General "Housekeeping" Duties
- Assisting with goods in and stock handling
- Providing cover and support across departments when required
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Note: Power tools & hand tools are part of the day to day operation, Industrial hoses can be heavy, dirty and awkward to lift around.
This role is suitable for individuals eager to develop their technical skills in hose assembly and dispatch operations within a supportive team environment.
Working Time:
Mon > Thurs : 8am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8am - 4pm (but we often leave 3:45pm)
1 x 20min morning break, 1 x 30min lunch break.
We don't work Bank Holidays or Weekends.
Overtime = Rare
Holiday Entitlement = Standard
Pay: From £14.09 per hour
