Due to the continued expansion at Anderson Commercials, we are looking to recruit a Workshop Controller Assistance to work from our base in Ellistown, Coalville. Needs to be local or within daily travelling distance.
The Role
- Liaising with the workshop controllers to book services and inspections for cars, vans and HGVs
- Scheduling work for inspections and safety checks
- Uploading booking requests and costs to fleet vehicle data bases for approval
- Sending completion paperwork to customers and updating fleet databases
- Sending quotes to customers for work required and gaining approval for work to proceed
- Running the administration of the Car MOT Lane
- Updating customers with regular updates whilst their vehicles are onsite
- Completing bookings and taking payments
- Front of house duties including greeting customers, taking calls, answering email queries and supporting team duties
The Candidate
- The correct candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, working alongside both the light vehicle and heavy good vehicle workshops
- Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Must have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks during a changing workload
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Experience using 1Link and CV Link would be an advantage

Working Schedule
- Working hours are to be covered between 09:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday hour (30 min lunch). Saturday 07:30 to 13:00 on a 1 in 2 basis. - to be discussed upon interview

We specialise in all aspects of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and can carry out all classes of vehicle MOT’s. Our well-equipped workshops can take all vehicles from motorcycles, cars, light commercials and heavy goods vehicles.
Our other services also include vehicle breakdown and recovery operated by a dedicated team of recovery specialists with a fleet of recovery units from fully equipped single car units, multi car transporters and heavy goods recovery units.
Our workshops are based on our multi-site operation in Ellistown, Leicestershire.
Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
