Footprint is looking for a Digital Account Manager to join our team in Swindon.
This is a hands-on client-facing role for someone who can confidently manage digital accounts, communicate with clients, coordinate internal work, and deliver day-to-day marketing activity across websites, SEO, PPC, social media, reporting, email, and campaigns.
You will be responsible for looking after clients, understanding their requirements, managing requests, briefing the team where needed, and making sure work is completed accurately and on time. You will also be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and carrying out practical digital marketing tasks yourself.
The role
As Digital Account Manager, you will be the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients. You will manage client communication, attend meetings, provide updates, oversee campaign activity, and ensure tasks are delivered across websites, paid ads, SEO, social, email, and reporting.
This role would suit someone who enjoys building client relationships but is also confident getting involved in the detail, whether that means updating a website, preparing a report, posting content, reviewing campaign performance, or coordinating a designer on a new campaign.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with clients
- Act as the main point of contact for client requests, updates, and queries
- Manage website support tickets and ensure they are completed efficiently (escalating to developers where necessary)
- Regularly communicating with our clients
- Give clear briefs to designers, social media team and developers
- Carry out basic website content updates
- Support and manage social media content and posting
- Prepare campaign reports and explain results clearly to clients
- Support SEO activity, including content updates, on-page changes, and performance checks
- Help manage PPC campaigns, including updates, reporting, and budget allocation
- Coordinate campaign planning, design, and delivery
- Support email marketing campaigns where required
- Manage priorities across multiple accounts
- Use CRM, ticketing, reporting, marketing, and automation tools
- Identify opportunities to improve client campaigns and account performance
- Support the wider team with digital marketing delivery
