We are looking for a skilled and reliable Car Mechanic to join our growing workshop. If you are passionate about vehicle maintenance, enjoy solving mechanical problems, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.
- Perform MOT preparation and repairs.
- Replace and repair components including brakes, suspension, exhausts, clutches, timing belts, and engines.
- Change tyres
- Re-gas vehicle air con
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Keep accurate service records and communicate findings clearly with customers and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a qualified vehicle mechanic or automotive technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Good knowledge of modern vehicle systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
Desirable Qualifications
- Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- MOT Tester qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.

Pay: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
