Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Podiatrist to join our healthcare team, providing expert foot and ankle care to diverse patient populations. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions through physical examinations and medical imaging reviews
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that include medication administration, wound care, orthotic prescriptions, or surgical interventions as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on clinical research projects related to podiatric health innovations and best practices
- Provide patient education on foot care, injury prevention, and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes or arthritis
- Assist in managing care for patients in nursing homes, senior care facilities, hospice settings, or during home visits to ensure continuous support and treatment adherence
- Maintain detailed medical records, documenting diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Stay current with advancements in podiatry, medical imaging techniques, and public health initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in clinical research related to foot health or musculoskeletal conditions is highly desirable
- ICU experience or familiarity with acute care settings is preferred for managing complex cases
- Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to the lower extremities and proficiency in interpreting medical imaging results
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse populations including elderly patients and those requiring hospice or home care services
- Ability to administer medications safely and effectively while adhering to healthcare protocols
- Prior nursing home experience or work within senior care environments is advantageous for understanding specific patient needs

Pay: £33,488.00-£43,752.00 per year
