Are you an experienced Behaviour Mentor looking for your next rewarding role this September?
Teach London is working with a range of mainstream secondary schools, specialist SEND schools and alternative provisions across London that are seeking dedicated Behaviour Mentors to support students with additional needs and behavioural challenges.

The Role
· Full-time positions starting in September.
· Long-term supply and temp-to-perm opportunities.
· Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
· Working with pupils displaying challenging behaviour, helping them to regulate emotions and engage positively with learning.
· Building strong, trusting relationships with students to improve confidence, attendance and classroom engagement.
· Implementing behaviour support strategies and positive interventions.
· Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, pastoral teams and external professionals to provide consistent support.
· Acting as a positive role model and promoting a safe, inclusive learning environment.
We're Looking For
· Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Learning Mentor, Youth Worker, Teaching Assistant or in a similar role supporting children or young people.
· Experience supporting students with SEND is highly desirable, particularly those with:
o Autism (ASD)
o ADHD
o Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
o Speech, Language and Communication Needs
o Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
· Experience supporting students who present with challenging behaviour.
· Calm, patient and resilient approach with excellent behaviour management skills.
· Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
· An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
