Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Installer to join our installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining sign-related systems in various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in signage to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. Duties
- Install and assemble sign systems according to technical specifications and schematics
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing installations to ensure optimal performance
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete installation tasks efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans
- Assist with other construction-related tasks such as plastering, masonry, carpentry, or fabrication as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area adhering to health and safety standards
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with building codes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the signage industry of 3 years +
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment
- Knowledge of schematics, construction painting, masonry, carpentry, or plastering is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety procedures within construction environments
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- CSCS Mandatory IPAF and PASMA ideal but we can provide if not already got
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must be located within 30 mins of Clacton

Pay: £13.50-£15.50 per hour
