Brand New Cambodian Restaurant Opening – Soho, London
Be the first and last impression of something special.
Following the success of our Borough Market pop-up, Barang is opening its first
permanent restaurant in the heart of Soho’s iconic Kingly Court. We’re looking for a
confident, warm, and polished Host to be the welcoming face of our restaurant from day
one.
About the Role
As our Host, you’ll be at the heart of the guest journey. From greeting guests at the door
to managing reservations and supporting the flow of service, you’ll help ensure every
visit begins and ends beautifully.
What You’ll Be Doing
Welcoming every guest with warmth, confidence, and genuine enthusiasm
Creating a memorable first impression and setting the tone for the dining experience
Managing reservations, walk-ins, and guest enquiries with calm professionalism
Coordinating closely with the Front of House and kitchen teams to ensure smooth
service flow
Building rapport with regular guests and remembering personal details
Anticipating guest needs and handling feedback with care and discretion
Maintaining exceptional standards of presentation, organisation, and communication
Representing Barang’s values and the spirit of Cambodian hospitality at all times
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Has a natural ability to connect with people and make guests feel welcome
Is passionate about hospitality and creating unforgettable experiences
Is confident, polished, and professional while remaining warm and approachable
Thrives in a busy, high-energy restaurant environment
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in high standards
Previous hosting or front-of-house experience is preferred but not essential
