We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Senior Practitioner/Senior Social Worker to join our dedicated Adult Social Care Team here at Wokingham Borough Council, on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role sits within our All Age Continuing Care and S117 Support Team, a specialist service supporting children and adults with complex health and care needs. Working closely with social care, health colleagues and partner organisations, the team helps to secure the right funding, coordinate assessments and make sure people receive the support they need. Experience in S117 or Continuing Healthcare is not essential, as full training will be provided to help you develop within this specialist area.
We are proud to be part of the Social Care Future movement working towards a place where everyone can live in a home they love, stay connected to the things that matter and feel part of their community.
As a Senior Practitioner/Senior Social Worker, you’ll supervise colleagues, guiding and supporting them to grow in their roles and making sure the quality of our work is the best that it can be.
