We support engineering consultancies, Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, design and build organisations and utility companies by delivering practical, buildable and technically robust engineering solutions across both infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking to connect with talented Mechanical Engineers who are passionate about delivering high-quality engineering solutions and who are interested in being part of a modern, collaborative engineering consultancy.
About the Role
Working as part of our engineering team, you will contribute to the delivery of mechanical engineering solutions for a wide variety of water and wastewater projects.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Mechanical design of water and wastewater assets
- Production of General Arrangement drawings
- Development of P&IDs
- Equipment selection and specification
- Pump calculations
- Hydraulic calculations
- Preparation of technical reports
- Design Risk Assessments
- Participation in HAZOP workshops
- Coordination with civil, electrical, ICA and process engineers
- Technical support during construction and commissioning

- Clean Water Pipelines
- Sewage Pumping Stations
- Service Reservoirs
- Capital Maintenance Schemes
- Design & Build Projects
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Degree or Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience within the UK water industry
- Mechanical design experience
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Desirable:
- Experience with WIMES standards
- AutoCAD experience
- Understanding of CDM Regulations
- HAZOP experience
- DSEAR awareness
- Knowledge of water utility standards
