We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Gym Operations Assistant to support the daily functions of our fitness centre. Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests warmly, providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Support management in daily operational tasks, including opening and closing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility
- Handle member enquiries, bookings, and membership administration efficiently
- Support the delivery of customers services by addressing member needs promptly and professionally
- Assist in managing equipment maintenance schedules and reporting issues promptly
- Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages member retention and satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in management or hospitality environments, with a focus on guest services
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations within a leisure or fitness setting is desirable
