As our dynamic business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled Site Manager with strong expertise in retail fit out to join our team for nationwide ongoing work.
Role Overview
- Location: Kent / Surrey with ongoing Nationwide opportunities across the UK, with a focus on banking and supermarket construction projects. Candidates must be flexible and willing to travel to various sites.
- Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing roles available
- Contract Type: Ongoing / Long-term opportunities for the right candidates
Responsibilities:
- Oversee subcontractors and direct labour to ensure high-quality delivery of banking and financial fit-out projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain smooth project execution, meeting tight deadlines and adhering to detailed project schedules typical of fast-track banking programmes.
- Manage all aspects of site operations, including health & safety, quality control, and client liaison for sensitive banking environments.
- Collaborate effectively within the broader project team while demonstrating the ability to work autonomously on multiple sites.
- Ensure compliance with banking-specific security, access, and operational requirements during construction.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong focus on banking or retail fit out
- Demonstrated success in delivering retail-style banking branches, headquarters fit-outs, or similar fast-track supermarket projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
Essential Certifications:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) – Black or Gold Card preferred
- 3 Day First Aid at Work
- Asbestos Awareness
Desirable: Trade qualification or background in a relevant construction discipline. Experience working within occupied banking premises or live supermarkets.
