About the Role
We are looking for a caring, reliable and responsible Part-Time Live-In Carer to support a young male living independently in his own home.
Client has cerebral palsy and anxiety and requires support with personal care, day-to-day activities and accessing social and work opportunities. This is a rewarding role for someone who is compassionate, patient and enjoys helping another person maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support with daily living.
- Supporting with mobility and other care needs as required.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Supporting to attend social activities, appointments and work.
- Driving client's manual vehicle to social events, work and other activities.
- Encouraging and supporting independence wherever possible.
- Remaining in the home and available throughout the shift.
Essential Requirements
- Full manual UK driving licence and confidence driving a vehicle.
- Previous experience in care is desirable.
- A caring, patient and respectful approach.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Able to stay overnight in the individual's home while on shift.
- Good communication skills.
Shift Pattern
Shifts are 11:00am to 11:00am, including an overnight stay in the individual's home. The role is part-time, with shifts arranged as part of a rota.
Pay: £175.00 per day
