Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing participants of various ages and skill levels in gymnastics, fostering a safe and encouraging environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to individual needs and abilities
- Demonstrate proper techniques for various gymnastics routines and exercises
- Monitor participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in excellent condition
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Organise competitions, exhibitions, or showcases to motivate participants and showcase their progress
- Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievements of all participants
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within gymnastics or similar disciplines
- Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety standards, and coaching methodologies
- Minimum Level 1 coaching qualification or equivalent and eagerness to complete courses and gain further qualifications
- Minimum age 18 years
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners of all ages
- Organised with the ability to plan structured training sessions effectively
- Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles
- Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential; willingness to undertake training is expected
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required
