This role is designed for experienced Residential Childcare professionals who have worked at Senior, Deputy Manager or Manager level within a Children’s Home or Supported Accommodation service.
To apply you must have:
- Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent)
- At least one year in a Senior / Deputy Manager / Manager role in residential childcare
You do not need an assessor qualification – we will train and fund this for the right candidate- full training provided
About the Opportunity
Partnership Training is a specialist apprenticeship provider working within the health and social care and childcare sectors.
This role is designed for experienced residential childcare professionals who want to step away from shift work and use their sector knowledge to develop the next generation of practitioners.
You will support managers and residential staff completing apprenticeships and qualifications, helping them apply best practice within regulated residential settings.
Delivery is primarily remote, with occasional visits where required.
What You Will Do
- Coach and support learners working in residential childcare
- Deliver structured online teaching and development sessions
- Carry out progress reviews with learners and employers
- Provide clear, standards-based feedback to support improvement
- Ensure learners apply safeguarding and regulatory standards in practice
- Maintain accurate assessment and learner documentation
Training and Development
We will support you to become a qualified trainer and assessor through fully funded professional development, including:
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training
You will learn alongside experienced tutors with structured mentoring and ongoing support.
Essential Requirements
- Senior experience within a Children’s Home or Supported Accommodation service
- Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent)
- Strong safeguarding and regulatory knowledge
- Confident IT and communication skills
- Ability to work independently from home
