Milton Keynes College are looking for a Laboratory Technician to provide support to our students, science curriculum teams and to strengthen the expanding scientific laboratory resource.
As Technician for our science students, you will provide general and practical support to both students and staff under the guidance from the Senior Laboratory Technician. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and hardworking individual who enjoys the preparation and delivery of practical science as well as contributing to and working as part of a team.
You will play a key role in the purchase and stock control of resources; correct and appropriate use of equipment and resources used as well as support and guide students with their practical and theory work. It is important that you can use your own expert knowledge from the industry to inspire and motivate learners to achieve success. You will work closely with Teaching staff to achieve an outstanding teaching and learning experience.
You will be encouraged to expand and develop on your skills in order to be productive and creative in your role, as well as having responsibility for the health and safety of the science and laboratory resource.
