They are now looking for a highly organised, proactive and capable Development Coordinator to join their growing Development team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in property, social housing, lettings or construction who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in supporting a variety of development projects from initial concept through to completion.
The Role
As Development Coordinator, you will provide high-quality project coordination and operational support to the Development Director and Development Managers. You will work across a wide range of projects and responsibilities, helping to ensure the Development team operates efficiently and projects progress smoothly.
This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who is highly organised, confident working with multiple stakeholders and able to take ownership of tasks and work independently.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment Team Coordination
· Provide high-quality coordination and administrative support to the Development Director and Development Managers.
· Coordinate Development team and project meetings, including preparing agendas, meeting information, minutes and agreed actions.
· Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and supply chain partners to maintain strong working relationships and ensure effective communication.
· Take ownership of delegated tasks and workstreams, progressing them independently through to completion.
· Proactively identify and resolve administrative or operational issues that may impact the efficiency of the team.
· Ensure all activities are carried out in line with company procedures, governance requirements and relevant contractual obligations.
Development Operations, Systems & Continuous Improvement
· Develop and maintain systems and processes that support the effective running of the Development department.
· Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement practical solutions.
· Create and maintain standard templates, tools and processes to support consistent project delivery.
· Support the implementation and adoption of new systems and ways of working.
· Maintain effective document management and filing systems, ensuring information is organised, accessible and appropriately controlled.
· Continually review and improve processes to support the ongoing growth of the business.
Business Development
· Work closely with the Healthcare and Affordable Homes teams to review the development pipeline and understand site requirements.
· Support the identification and tracking of potential development sites.
· Maintain site information, records and trackers.
· Assist with the preparation of presentations, information packs and other materials for clients, investors and new business opportunities.
· Develop and maintain project case studies and marketing materials that showcase the Development team’s experience and capabilities.
· Support the Development Director and Development Managers with activities that contribute to the continued growth of the department.
Project Support
· Coordinate calls and meetings with councils, clients, lenders and other external stakeholders.
· Prepare briefing information and follow up on outstanding actions and information.
· Support the preparation and issue of information required to obtain quotations from consultants and suppliers.
· Coordinate the quotation process, including obtaining and comparing quotations and supporting the approval and appointment process.
· Coordinate supplier and consultant onboarding, including purchase orders and required documentation.
· Arrange and coordinate site access for consultants, suppliers, surveys and quotations.
· Support the preparation and coordination of information for monthly investor and stakeholder reporting.
· Assist with the coordination of statutory applications, including planning and utilities, while maintaining accurate records of submissions and responses.
· Visit sites periodically during construction to support project records and capture progress photographs where required.
· Coordinate the collection and management of handover information from contractors and consultants.
· Maintain accurate project document control, including drawings, specifications, correspondence and approvals.
· Support cost control and reporting by collating contractor valuations and relevant cost information in conjunction with the Development Manager and Quantity Surveyor.
· Coordinate the administration and recording of contractor change requests, variations and instructions for approval.
Business & Project Administration
· Coordinate sign-off and approval processes between the Development team, Finance, Directors and other key stakeholders.
· Issue contracts and other documentation for signature to consultants, contractors, investors and other relevant parties.
· Support the administrative set-up of new project SPVs, working closely with Finance and professional advisers.
· Maintain legal and professional adviser trackers and coordinate outstanding actions and responses.
· Carry out other coordination and operational duties appropriate to the role to support the efficient running and continued growth of the Development department.

Experience & Knowledge
We are looking for someone with:
· Previous experience within property, social housing, lettings, construction or a related environment.
· Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and strong overall IT literacy.
· A good understanding of systems, processes and document management.

· Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise a busy workload.
