You'll:
- Provide first-line engineering support for Production teams.
- Take a leading role in onboarding new technology—from refurbishment strategy to documenting processes.
- Write clear Work Instructions for new products and processes.
- Collaborate with Purchasing to qualify new suppliers and components.
- Implement design changes into Operations and train Production teams as needed.
- Identify, improve, and maintain production documentation and parts definitions.
- Design and conduct technical tests when required.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
Every day brings something new—supporting prototypes, refining engineering processes, solving technical problems, and contributing to innovative, customer‑driven engineering projects.
What You’ll Bring
We’re seeking someone who enjoys varied technical challenges and has a passion for electro‑mechanical systems.
Experience
- Hands‑on experience stripping and rebuilding complex modules or mechanisms.
- Background with ATMs, self‑service tills, photocopiers, or similar precision equipment (preferred).
- Understanding of PCBA control systems, firmware, motors, belts, displays, and mechanical assemblies.
- Field engineering experience—ideally with Wincor/Diebold, and some NCR familiarity.
- Experience creating technical documentation or Work Instructions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Strong mechanical/electrical/electronics aptitude.
- Confident using MS Office and analysing technical data.
- Ability to troubleshoot, think creatively, and problem‑solve effectively.
- Comfortable training technicians and communicating across departments.
- Curiosity and motivation to understand how complex devices work.
