Duties
- Lead and supervise the setup, service, and breakdown of conference and banqueting events, ensuring all arrangements meet client specifications.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to guarantee quality and timely delivery.
- Manage a team of servers, baristas, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to deliver outstanding guest service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and food production procedures across all event operations.
- Oversee the serving process during events, ensuring professionalism, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with hotel or venue management to plan event logistics, including room layouts, equipment needs, and catering requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of event activities, health & safety checks, and staff schedules to ensure smooth operations at all times.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within hospitality or restaurant environments.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead a diverse group effectively.
- Extensive restaurant or hotel experience with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food production processes.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff, service teams, and clients.
- Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and foster teamwork in fast-paced settings.
- Experience in serving guests professionally while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
- Familiarity with barista skills or bar service is a must
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a lively environment.
