We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician for a full-time, permanent position in Thetford.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and repair electrical systems in line with IET Wiring Regulations
- Conduct reactive and planned maintenance task
- Support major and minor maintenance tasks across the Training Estate
- Ensure site safety by following all Health & Safety protocols
- Conduct risk assessments and follow safe systems of work
- Work with stakeholders to support smooth site operations
- Complete documentation using IT and paper‑based systems
- Support with the on call rota during time of annual leave and sickness absence
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship (e.g., NVQ/SVQ Level 3)
- BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- City + Guilds 2391 -2394 + 2395 or equivalent (Inspection & Testing)
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Experience in a commercial environment
- LPS trained
Role Details
- Salary: £37,115.94 – £41,569.85 (DOE)
- Location: Thetford, Norfolk
- Contract: Permanent, Mon–Fri, 08:00 -16 :30 (Early finish on a Friday)
- On Call: 1 in 5 weeks (over-time applicable)
- Travel: Periodic attendance to Donna Nook, Holbeach, Fingringhoe, Barton Road, Beckingham and Yardley Chase
