Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of office areas, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning techniques
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are well-equipped
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed diligently
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing extra attention or maintenance issues that require reporting
- Follow health and safety protocols to create a secure environment for everyone on-site
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning schedules efficiently and uphold high standards of hygiene
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness and quality
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout shifts
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties promptly
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed
