Shifts are from 5-10pm. Paid at the end of each shift. Staff discount on food. Flexible as to which days are worked but must be a permanent arrangement to do agreed shifts each week. We are open 7 days a week. Guaranteed 3 shifts per week, with days being flexible when other drivers are able to cover.
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the care for handling peoples food.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive their own vehicle on delivery routes within 5 mile radius.
- Carefully handling thermal bags containing food takeaway bags.
- Deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Liaise with counter staff as and when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Valid <PERSON> driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with local routes and navigation systems is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
