The Fallow Deer is a busy, independent brunch restaurant in the heart of Teddington. We are known for our fresh brunch menu, homemade cakes, specialty coffee and warm, welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients and portioning food
- Wash dishes, kitchen equipment and utensils throughout service
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen at all times
- Support with stock rotation, deliveries and storage
- Ensure all cleaning schedules and food safety procedures are followed
- Work closely with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Previous kitchen or kitchen porter experience is preferred but not essential
- Hardworking, reliable and able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Comfortable carrying out both food preparation and kitchen porter duties
- Must be available to work weekends as part of the rota
