The Chef is responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring that all food is presented beautifully and meets the establishment’s standards. This role requires strong culinary skills, creativity, and the ability to manage within a kitchen team effectively.
- Prepare, cook, and plate food to ensure high quality and presentation.
- Monitor food stock levels and order supplies as needed.
- Supervise kitchen staff whilst the head chef isn't there , providing training and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Taste and evaluate food products to ensure quality.
