An exciting opportunity has arisen at Crossley Fields for the post of Educational Teaching Assistant. This is fixed term to 31st August 2027 in the first instance subject to further funding.
Crossley Fields Junior & Infant School is large multicultural school serving a diverse and broad catchment area. We are highly inclusive with a commitment to ensuring a broad and ambitious curriculum for all our children so that they achieve the best possible outcomes from their time with us. We are looking to appoint someone with the knowledge and skills, whether this is in a professional or personal capacity, to support pupils with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with behavioural, emotional, mental health and communication needs.
If you are able to…
promote positive behaviour and encourage independence and resilience in pupils;
work as part of a team of teachers, ETA colleagues and parents;
contribute to the preparation of learning resources and an engaging classroom environment;
support pupils positive behaviour and play at lunchtimes;
demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills;
have a positive, solution focused approach to supporting pupils to be the very best version of themselves,
Then Crossley Fields could be the school for you!
Our website and Facebook pages showcase the fantastic teaching and learning that takes place in our school. We would highly recommend looking at both to get a real feel for what it would be like to work at Crossley Fields. Ongoing CPD is prioritised and specific training, if needed for the role, is able to be given.
Visits to the school are warmly welcome and encouraged. Please contact the Headteacher, Louise Howard via
