Job Overview
Due to continued expansion , We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager or room leader to join our team working at our two nurseries based in Beccles
The successful candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic and have excellent knowledge of The Early Years Foundation Stage .
You will have the experience of leading a team and supporting the manager to develop the setting to ensure children have the highest standard of care and education .
This is a permanent role of up to 37 hours per week, for 50 weeks of the year. working hours, on a weekly rota basis, will be between 7.30 am and 6pm.
The successful candidate will undertake childcare screening including qualification and employment checks whereby gaps in employment will be checked , enhanced DBS will be undertaken and at least two references will be gained. The position will be subject to a probationary period

To manage the nursery in the managers absence
To support staff with planning
To create enriching environments.
To manage administration tasks as required
Essential Experience
A minimum of Level Three in child care and education
Previous experience of managing and supervising staff
