Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, providing exceptional customer service from arrival to departure
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Assist with food safety practices, including proper handling and storage of food items
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems while maintaining basic math proficiency
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and hygiene protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments with a focus on guest services
- Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and food handling standards
- Experience in serving or bartending with excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills for order processing and cash handling
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated upselling skills to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
