Join our dynamic team as a Security Concierge, where you'll be the frontline guardian ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. As a Security Concierge, you will proactively monitor premises, assist guests, and respond swiftly to any security concerns, embodying professionalism and attentiveness at every turn.
Job Purpose
- To provide an efficient and professional Security Concierge Service for Servoca Secure Solutions.
Key areas of responsibility
- Unlock and locking of educational establishment
- Managing access to areas of the premises
- To complete maintenance check lists and report any defaults
- Front of house services, good written and verbal communication
- Welcome visitors
- Manning, monitoring and patrolling the site and all access points
- Support and carryout Facilities Management tasks (example maintenance reports, cleaning)
- Conduct security checks of the premises
- Routine or random patrols of premises
- To respond to any incidents within the time set by agreed standards
- Checking staff have their ID with them
- Assisting with the implementation of emergency protocols – i.e. fire evacuation; emergency calls
- Maintain a daily occurrence book and record system as directed
- Answering and re-directing incoming telephone calls where necessary
- Deal with any security related queries
- Liaising with the client and Contracts Manager
- To ensure that you communicate with the client and Contracts Manager of any incidents
- Incident reports completed as required in a swift manner
- Check, secure and report all external and internal doors, windows and fire exits on premises.
- Respond to intruder alarms as appropriate; inspect for signs of break-in
- Develop a good working relationship with the client
- Attend training sessions as required by the Company and the Client.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
- To adhere to Company policies, systems or procedures and codes of practice to which the Company subscribes.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Well motivated with the ability to work with little supervision, to prioritise, organise and follow procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to communicate with people at all levels both in person and over the telephone
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of customer service
- Ability to deliver a high standard, discrete hospitality service.
- Ability to cope with difficult callers/visitors courteously

- First Aid trained - preferred
- Full driving license - Required
- SIA front-line License in Security Guarding or Door Supervision - Required

- Working knowledge of BS 7858 Code of Practice
