We are growing and developing our Children and Families workforce as part of an ambitious programme of service transformation. We are looking for talented, committed and values-led professionals to join us.
As an Integrated Front Door Advisor within the Children's Advice and Duty Service, you will be an important first point of contact for children, families and members of the public. You will provide appropriate early-help advice and help practitioners make safe, timely decisions by coordinating accurate information across safeguarding partners.

A good standard of education, including Level 2 or GCSE qualifications in English and maths.

Demonstrable experience of working within a children's service environment.

Knowledge of early help, child protection processes, safeguarding partners, relevant legislation, data protection and confidentiality.

Experience of using children's social care case-recording systems and compiling clear summaries from multiple information sources.

Excellent telephone, communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to support families in crisis and use conflict-resolution approaches.

Strong IT, analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure, track deadlines and escalate concerns appropriately.

Receive telephone contacts from children, families and members of the public, providing early-help advice and signposting to appropriate local services.

Recognise potential risk and ensure safeguarding concerns are transferred immediately to a Consultant Social Worker.

Coordinate information and intelligence requests to safeguarding partners, clearly communicate deadlines and escalate delays or missing information.

Collate relevant Liquidlogic and partner information and prepare concise summaries to support management decision making.

Coordinate multi-agency themed meetings and incoming requests from organisations including the police, CEOP and the NSPCC.

Maintain accurate, confidential records, safeguard data quality and contribute to the review and improvement of operational procedures.

Play a vital role in ensuring children and families receive the right response at the earliest opportunity.

Support safe, evidence-based decisions at the front door of Children's Social Care.

Work closely with safeguarding partners as part of a responsive multi-agency service.
