About Quin Global UK Ltd
At Quin Global, we believe in building a business around respect, trust, and excellence. We're one of the world's largest producers of spray canister adhesives, supplying industries across the globe. As Adhesive Innovators, we're always looking for better ways to do things, in our products, our processes, and our people. We thrive on accountability, loyalty, helpfulness, integrity, and success, delivered with cooperation and respect. As we grow, we're committed to environmental, social and governance principles, operational efficiency, and providing a culture where people can perform at their best.
Role Summary
We're looking for a Production Operative to join our operations team in Perth. This hands-on role supports our filling line, working accurately and safely to help deliver quality products for our customers. You'll play a key part in our production process, working within a team that values doing things right, and doing them well.
Key Responsibilities
- Filling Line: Carry out filling line duties safely and accurately in line with production requirements.
- Standard Procedures: Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions and production requirements at all times.
- Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organisation within your work area, in line with our 6S standards.
- General Support: Support general production activity and pitch in wherever the team needs a hand.
- Growing Responsibility: As you build experience, take on more, including operating the labelling machine, spotting and escalating safety or quality issues, booking goods onto our systems, supporting stock replenishment, and basic machinery checks.
- Health & Safety: Comply with health and safety requirements, company policies and production procedures at all times.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar production environment is a plus, though not essential.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions accurately and consistently.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work well within a team, while also completing assigned tasks independently.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to raise issues clearly to your Team Leader or Supervisor.
- An understanding of the importance of health and safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in a production environment.
- This role predominantly involves manual handling tasks. Reasonable adjustments will be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010.
Quin Global Values in Action
- Respect - Treats colleagues, equipment, and processes with care, and contributes to a positive team environment.
- Trust - Follows procedures consistently and can be relied on to do the job right, even without oversight.
- Excellence - Takes pride in accuracy and safety, and looks to improve as they grow into the role.
Why Quin Global
We're family owned, and even as we've grown, we've never let go of what that means. Here, you're someone we know by name, not just a payroll number. We run OfficeVibe so people can raise what's on their mind anonymously, and it actually gets acted on. Strong performers get real chances to grow, right across the business. And when the business does well, you share in it too, through our Growth by Sharing bonus scheme.
Growth & Development
You will receive structured training with opportunities to progress within the operations team. Internal development is part of our culture, and strong performers are given opportunities to grow their skills and take on more responsibility.
