About the Role
Pure Med Recruitment is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a highly regarded care team in Newport.
In this role, you will lead the night clinical team, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to residents during the night hours. Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Excellence: Administer medications, manage wound care, monitor vital signs, and address any clinical emergencies or changes in resident conditions during the night.
- Care Planning: Maintain, update, and implement detailed, person-centred care plans.
- Leadership: Lead and support the night care assistant team, ensuring tasks are allocated effectively and safety standards are maintained.
- Communication: Provide clear handovers to the day staff and accurately document all clinical interventions.
- Compliance: Ensure all care delivered complies with care regulatory standards and company policies.
Requirements
- Qualification: A valid, active NMC Pin (Registered General Nurse - RGN).
- Experience: Proven experience working as an RGN in a similar clinical or care home setting in the UK is essential.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently during night hours.
- Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK. Please note: We do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
