An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing entrepreneurial and digital business.
About For Media Group
For Media Group is a growing professional training, events and media business based in Pride Park, Derby. Through our For Legal brand, we provide training and professional development solutions to law firms and legal professionals across the UK.
Our services include an extensive online library of on-demand legal training, live webinars, in-person conferences and tailored training solutions for law firms. We work with recognised experts and speakers across a wide range of legal practice areas, helping firms keep their teams up to date while meeting their ongoing learning and professional development requirements.
Alongside our online training platform, we run a busy national programme of face-to-face legal conferences, giving our team regular opportunities to meet clients and prospects in person.
As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a confident, commercially minded individual to join our sales team and help us develop relationships with new and existing law firm clients.
Main Purpose of the Role
This is a varied business development and account management role focused on selling our online training subscriptions, live training and conference services to law firms
Using telephone, email and face-to-face communication, you will develop new client relationships while also managing and growing existing accounts.
Rather than simply selling an off-the-shelf product, you will take the time to understand a firm's training requirements and recommend the most appropriate combination of online subscriptions, webinars, conferences and other training solutions.
You will also have the opportunity to attend our own conferences and other industry events, meeting clients and prospects face-to-face and representing the For Legal brand.

- Attend For Legal conferences and relevant external industry events to meet clients and prospects face-to-face.
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service throughout the sales and account management process.
- Follow up marketing campaigns, event attendees, enquiries and other sales leads.
- Maintain accurate client and prospect information within our CRM and internal systems.
- Work collaboratively with our marketing, events and product development teams to ensure customer needs are understood and met.
- Keep up to date with For Legal's products, upcoming events and new training content.

- Confidence speaking with professionals and senior decision-makers.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and tasks.
- Good attention to detail when maintaining CRM and customer records.
- Confidence meeting and interacting with clients face-to-face.
- A professional and well-presented approach.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing to a wider team.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
Previous sales or business development experience would be advantageous, particularly within professional services, training, events, subscriptions, SaaS or B2B sales. However, attitude, communication skills and determination are equally important.
