Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Serve food to guests promptly while maintaining presentation quality
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
- Manage cash register operations, including handling payments and issuing receipts
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including setting up and clearing tables
- Assist in stock replenishment and inventory management
- Uphold excellent customer service standards by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
