Classroom Tutor: Early Years

Hours: Full time
Salary: pay scale £28k - £32K depending on experience
About the Role
We are seeking a joyful, enthusiastic, dedicated Classroom Tutor to join our team and support the learning and development in Early Years sector. The successful candidate will create a nurturing, engaging and stimulating learning environment where individuals can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Early Years lessons and learning activities.
- Support development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and joyful classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor and record learners progress and achievements.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and our partners.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, safety and wellbeing.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate in Education (Cert Ed), PGCE, Level 4 Diploma in Education and Training, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years Education.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years training including SEND
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A warm, patient and positive approach to working with unemployed and employed individuals.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Early Years Education Qualification.
- Experience working in schools, nurseries, or early years settings.
