Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data within our systems. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure the integrity of our data. The Data Entry Clerk will also assist with various clerical tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of the office.
Responsibilities
- Input and update data into databases and spreadsheets with precision.
- Perform regular data audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of reports by compiling and sorting information.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while handling data entry tasks.
- Respond to inquiries via phone or email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organising documents.
- Collaborate with team members to improve data entry processes and efficiency.
Skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Suite is highly desirable.
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Familiarity with clerical and office procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure data integrity.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration within the team.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
