Tay Cities is a partnership comprising of Angus, Dundee City, Fife, and Perth and Kinross councils; the Higher Education and Further Education sector; the business sector; the region’s third sector; Scottish Enterprise and Skills Development Scotland. The Tay Cities Deal is a programme of investment to deliver economic growth across the region. You will support the project management of the Tay Cities Programme. The main duties include the maintenance of effective project management systems and effective governance, supporting project owners in the development of business cases, assisting with project and programme monitoring and reporting. You will support the Programme Management team reporting into the Project Manager. Although the employer is Dundee City Council the post is funded by the Tay Cities Partnership. You will therefore operate across the wider region comprising the Angus, Dundee City, North East Fife and Perth & Kinross Council areas.
You will have experience of working in a multi-tasking, computerised, customer services environment, experience of supporting managers or a team and working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, including Office 354, Word, Excel. You will have written and oral communications skills, the ability to work with people and as part of a team and work on own initiative along with time management and the ability to cope with change. You will be willing to undertake CPD, to work extended hours as required and to contribute to the wider section priorities.
