Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This will be on a casual basis for mainly evening and weekend work .

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met and guest satisfaction is prioritized
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure their needs are met and address any concerns proactively
- Upsell menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of food and beverages, to ensure health standards are upheld
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with previous restaurant or serving experience preferred
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing bills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service periods
- Clear communication skills for coordinating with team members and engaging with guests confidently
- Passion for delivering memorable dining experiences through attentive service and positive interactions
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
