We are a pharmacy providing medication services to care homes and are looking for a reliable and responsible On-Call Delivery Driver to join our team in the Swindon area.
You will be responsible for delivering medication safely and efficiently to care homes across the Swindon area, mainly during the afternoon and evening.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver medication to care homes safely and on time.
- Follow delivery schedules and instructions provided by the pharmacy.
- Handle medication responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
- Provide a professional and friendly service to care-home staff.
- Complete delivery records and required paperwork accurately.
- Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean and in good condition.
- Report any delivery issues promptly to the pharmacy team.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, Between 2:00pm – 8:00pm
This is an on-call role, so flexibility and reliability are essential.
What We Are Looking For
- Full UK driving licence.
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Previous delivery or pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good knowledge of the Swindon area would be an advantage.
