Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Salon Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of HESS Nail Boutique. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the salon runs efficiently, maintaining exceptional customer service, supporting the team, and driving business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesSalon Operations
- Oversee the daily running of the salon.
- Ensure appointments run smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the salon.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and place product orders when required.
- Manage opening and closing procedures.
Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and support the salon team.
- Create staff rotas and manage annual leave.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative working environment.
Customer Experience
- Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the client journey.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements where necessary.
Business Development
- Help achieve monthly sales and performance targets.
- Promote retail products and salon services.
- Support marketing campaigns and social media activities.
- Identify opportunities to increase bookings and client retention.
- Produce basic performance reports for the business owner.
Administration
- Manage the salon booking system (Fresha).
- Handle client enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and social media.
- Process payments and daily cash reconciliation.
- Ensure accurate client records are maintained.
- Assist with payroll information and supplier communications when required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Salon Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Beauty Professional.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Experience using salon booking software (Fresha experience is desirable).
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience managing a luxury nail or beauty salon.
- Experience with stock management and ordering.
- Knowledge of retail sales and business performance.
- Social media and marketing experience.
- First Aid qualification (desirable).
