Salary - £30,177 per annum (£16.23 per hour)
Hours - Full-time, 35.75 hours a week (Monday to Friday)

Location - Carron Place, Leith, Edinburgh
We're looking for an experienced and reliable Painter to help keep our venues looking their best.
Based at Carron Place in Leith, you'll travel between our venues using a company van, carrying out painting, decorating and improvement work. You'll work across a variety of locations, helping keep Edinburgh's leisure facilities safe, welcoming and well maintained for customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Carry out painting, decorating, maintenance and improvement work across our venues.
- Assess jobs, take measurements and identify the materials needed.
- Order and manage materials required for allocated work.
- Record and update work using our maintenance management system.
- Plan and prioritise jobs based on urgency, safety and operational needs.
- Complete work with minimal disruption to customers and venue operations.
- Work independently and manage your workload across multiple sites.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
What You’ll Bring:
- An Advanced Painting & Decorating qualification (City & Guilds).
- A Blue CSCS Card.
- At least 3 years' apprenticeship training or 3 years' experience in the painting and decorating industry.
- Experience applying specialist finishes, including metalwork.
- Ladder Inspection and Asbestos Awareness certification.
- Experience applying a high standard of decorative finishes.
- The ability to manage your workload and work independently.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Basic IT skills and confidence using maintenance systems.
- A good understanding of safe working practices, including risk assessments, manual handling, working at height and the safe use of tools.
