We are looking for a proactive and organised Administrator & Business Development Support Officer to join our growing team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This role is for 6.5 hours per week, worked over three days (ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday), with the potential to become a permanent position withincreased hours as the organisation continues to grow.
This is a varied role that combines administrationwith business development, supporting the smooth running of our services while helping to expand our reach across our alternative provision and autism and ADHD assessmentservices.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emails professionally and in a timely manner.
- Send screening forms and manage the client referral and onboarding process.
- Set up and maintain client records and folders.
- Liaise with families, clients, schools, local authorities and other professionals.
- Produce and update resources, documents and information packs.
- Provide administrative support to the operations team.
- Research and identify new opportunities, schools, local authorities, organisations and professionals who may benefit from our services.
- Carry out proactive outreach to schools, local authorities, GP practices, charities and other relevant organisations to promote ouralternative provision and autism and ADHDassessment services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships withexisting and prospective clients, schools andpartner organisations.
- Help generate referrals and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
- Support marketing activities, networkingopportunities and the development of newpartnerships.
- Assist in improving systems and processes as the organisation expands.
About You
- Highly organised with excellent attention todetail.
- A confident communicator with strong writtenand verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable building relationships and engaging with professionals by email and telephone.
- Able to work independently, use initiative and manage competing priorities.
- Competent using Microsoft Office and onlinesystems.
- Previous experience in administration, business development, healthcare, education or a related sector would be an advantage.
